The Club Fell championship starts on 1 April each year. There are 3 'short’ events, 3 'medium' and 3 'long'. The first Traveller to finish in each event scores 10 points, the second 9 etc. In addition to the overall men’s and ladies championships, there are also vets (over 40) and supervets (over 50) categories.
Up to 5 nominated races can count; 1 short, 1 medium and 1 long, plus your best 2 other races. The races nominated by Fell captain Richard Howard for the 2013/14 championship are listed on this page.
Please note that DDT plan to enter teams in the British Relay Championship. For further information or if you would like to take part, please contact Fell Captain Richard Howard.

The Charlesworth Chase at Appletreewick was the first race in the new Club Fell Championship. Simon Browne was the first Traveller home in 10th position, with Anne Middleton our first lady and 2nd overall. Full results available on this page.
Anne is pictured above with Rosalind Bedford, who won the prize for downing the fastest drink of beer after the race. Rosalind puts her success down to intensive training with husband Dave who is expert in this field!
